For Pentair® MasterTemp® & Max-E-Therm® Pool Heaters: designed to replace the Sta-Rite® 42001-0053SS (STA-151-6254)
If the temperature on your control panel’s display is showing an incorrect temperature, your thermistor may need to be replaced. Thermistors often display a temperature that is much too high when they reach the end of their lifespan. Fix this issue easily by replacing your worn-out thermistor temperature sensor with this Optimum replacement Stainless Steel Thermistor.
Two spades located on top of thermistor provide easy installation into the heater manifold. Existing wires can be unplugged from old thermistor and reused when replacing.
